For the Texans heading north.... if you're in need of building foam, Wichita has Home Depot and Menards that carry the 2"X4'X8' 25# (Owens). Looks like the Menards has it on sale for $30.79 a sheet thru Friday. Don't know what Southwest vault price is currently but looks like that's about $4 ch...

Great weekend of flying. Thanks David, Bruce, Jerry and all the Texoma RCers. I thought I knew how WICKED the openB wings were.....but I wasn't even close. Good to see Gil again and watch him make an OpenB wing dance!

All the better to try out LimitedB. Perhaps it'll blow Cathy and I south to Houston to get on a cruise to the Western Carribbean for a week of mid 80's temps.

My perception on an AMA rulebook event rule change is it takes a couple years to complete. A change from 17.5 to WOT takes the class from limited to open and there's already one of those on the books. Open A...which no one seems to be flying. Raising the RPM would certainly help when flying in the T...

Bad receiver in the trash.... cut antenna wire replaced....crappy running motor doing better after a cracked carb case replaced. Lets have some combat!

Thanks again David and Bruce for a good weekend of combat. Congrats to Paul for his WIN in SSC and to Buttercup for successfully (finally) wrapping his bird around the wind sock. Good competitive flying from everyone. I relearned I need to stay out of Buttercups Furball even though it looks enticing...
