And.... they're gone! John York spoke for them, via Andy Runte.
Glad they'll be put to good use!

Free Dr. Evil wing cores
I've had 4 wing core sets for Limited or Open B cut by Dr. Evil sitting around in my basement for over 5 years. These have EPP leading edges for extra durability!
I have fiberglass rods (4 for 2 wings), and pre-cut aileron wood for 3 wings.
You pay shipping.

With all that Gnat building material, I think you have a new nickname, Bob:

Re: DS'ers finally break the 200mph -- no make that 500mph
I had to resurrect this ancient thread, because the new speed record, 7 years later, is 505 mph . Yep...that's an unpowered RC plane!

The best scissors for cutting Bi-directional tape?
The glue on most bi-directional tape is great. But after a few cuts, the glue starts sticking to the scissors blades. And after a few more, you've got to get out the acetone and clean it. I accompanied my wife a few weeks ago on some shopping errands, and found myself killing time at JoAnn Fabrics w...

Re: Tundra Terror VII
Great work William. That's part of what hooked me on combat is the people that were always willing to jump in and help when you need it. Sounds like a good contest. Hey Bruce --- I was looking forward to meeting you at the Midwest Slope Challenge and talk some Wisconsin vs. Texas combat smack. You ...

I had a great time, Will! Fun flying, beautiful weather, and good ol' Green Bay hospitality!

Re: Coro warbirds
Funny. This brings to mind the phrase "What goes around, comes around". I know for a fact that Jim's original plans were based on Dave West's powered combat SPADS. http://westaero.wingedshadow.com/#MiG-7%20Plans Of course, Jim adapeted those basics to a whole list of other fighters!...

Re: Tundra Terror VI
Yeah, man --- fun event. Thank's Will for organizing. This was my first time to get to go to Green Bay for Will's event, but it won't be my last. The Gnat combat was a blast -- it was a little distracting though, watching Will's single-ply coro wing flex like a sailplane on a high speed bank. My fir...

Evader Maiden
Maiden flight today, SSC Evader. Weather: 85 degrees, wind 10-15 from the south. Plane: Evader SSC, new Magnum 15 (broken in), Mike Fredricks wing from my phencepost. I never flew a flying stab plane before, so I was a little nervous about too much throw on the H-stab. I set up the dual rates with a...
