Dave, is that M an Upside down W for Wisconsin?

John, What are the rules for slope combat? It was just 3 of us and we started counting hits as 1 point for each guy, and 1 point if you could loop or roll within 10 seconds of contact and one point if the other guy was knocked out of the air.

Heck I have only gone sloping once so far. It was an absolute blast. I would love to try DS, But I just don't think we have the right kind of hills for it here in the flat lands of Florida.

"E-Neutral" I love it. We have the Pro-E crowd, The E-Phoebes, and now the E-Neutrals.

Looks great Lee. Great idea on the helmet cam. Are you putting the batteries in the Fuse still? Also, any comments on the LongMax batteries now that you have been using them for a while?

Thanks for the link, it led to videos of Amy Lee of Evanesence, she was much better to look at. :)

My batteries are in the fuselage, and due to their location needed them for CG, plus I use the BEC from the ESC. I made no modifications to the plane I brought it along just to fly it. It was just a "hey let me try this" kinda thing. I may build a slope fuselage to go with my SSC wing for ...

Just bringing this back up. Any new ideas to try. I had 4 spar failures at my last contest.

Mike has the Y cut for spars shown to be any help? Could it be done somehow without a CNC?

Make sure you only order what show as positive stock. I have heard of a few bad stories when ordering out of stock items. I personally have ordered 2 times from them, with no problems. Also fellow fliers have ordered and no probs when ordering in stock items.

I would look at the Scorpion 30-14-22 motor. http://www.innov8tivedesigns.com/produc ... cts_id=206

It weighs 4.3 ozs. is a relatively low KV and is good for up to 550 watts.

What is the weight of your glider?
