Topspeed, Polyurathane glue is fairly common and I'm sure you can find a similar substitute in Finland. Check any aviation supply shops and see what they can come up with. Gorilla glue is another brand name common here.

I'll always love the idea of flying full blown 2610.

Nice planes Lou.

I'm guessing if the contest schedule got pined down to 2 or 3 large events participation might just go up. Sort of a "leave it all out there" type of event.

Sorry, going OT

Just a thought, NAES

Thanks for the link Ed and o1moregil.

I found a 3 view that includes the center pod. It also includes many drawings that look like factory scans from the manual. Very interesting.

I'll either be building an A-2 or B-2 observation platform version. I really like the glasshouse of a cockpit they have.

I'm with you James. On the trip back from Vegas Terry, Butch and I were spying all kinds of slope spots and kicking ourselves for not throwing one in the trailer. Combat is soooo much fun but if speed is your game, I don't think you can go faster in the RC world unless you have 10K to drop on a Turb...

Going off the wall on a project, need some help

Not RC Combat related directly but my next PSS subject is going to be an FW-189 recon/fighter. Maybe someone will want to build one as well for combat. Does anyone have some deicent 3 views of this thing? The main part I'm having trouble coming up with is a scale outline of the center pod. I would l...

I'm pretty sure that it's just a home computer hooking up to some very small bandwidth. This particular video was shot at either Parker Mountain or Vincent in Southern California. We are experiencing Santa Ana winds right now which are in the steady 40's most of the time. Anyway, Dynamic Soaring aka...

DS record just went over 300MPH today!!!!

I cannot believe this but here's the vid. The pilot, Kyle Paulson, has always been at the top but this is unreal.

Ben, if I remember correctly they put a bunch of balls in the eye so it gives sort of a 3D image of the whole thing. They plot that info into some GPS or other modelling and you get a picture. Scary as Hell no matter how you look at it. I'm assuming it's the same basic procedures as a tornado, go un...

Wishing the Texas guys good luck this weekend

As all of you know, Rita is on the way. After reading about the potential impact I just wish all of you who will/may/have been affected by the hurricane(s) all the best. If there's anything to learn from Katrina, the number one would be to make sure your family is together, no matter what moves you ...

Fun, durability and pilot introduction were the ideas behind SSC, not world championships so lets keep it provisional.

Anyway, who can really feel like they trumped the rest by claiming SSC domination at the end of the year? No offense Lee since you dominated all 3 classes.

The RC car guys have additives that they add to their fuels.

You can get vanilla, coconut, bananna, strawberry, etc.

I'd be a little sceert of the nudie combat as I'm constantly in the jungle looking for downed planes. Man, some of the little stickers could get you in the wrong spots for sure!!:)
