Call me cynical but I'm still not convinced.

I guess there's only one way to see if it really works, but on a sloper first!

Man that's a drag. I've pretty much given up SSC for now as I will only have time to dedicate to certain classes so Open B and 2548 are my 2 choices. hopefully I don't have to whittle it down to 1.

Bo, do you have an ebay account? If so do the buy it now thing and let me know you did. Then I'll take care of the shipping. If you don't have one let me know and I'll take care of it for you. I don't want to pull the item off ebay as that stirs the pot. Terry, it's much easier to float the $$ when ...

I probably took them out to look at them and never put em back. It's been on my shelf for about a year so I didn't keep track.

Shipping is around $8 but if you do the buy it now thing I'll take care of the shipping. How's that sound?

I guess I'm towing a frigate!

I've been running 1800 Mah, AA Nimh packs! I got em off ebay at $5 each. I bought a bunch and they work great. Also great for counterbalancing a slightly tailheavy ship.

I keep thinking that an I beam of sorts is the smartest way to go. Lou, I too have done away with solid LE for the most part. I keep having a spar dislodge issue and a few of my wing "taps" have had the spars pop out and take a ziptie or 2 with it. The last 2 wings I've severely damaged ar...

OK well it seems at least the boards are getting hit, just without alot of content these days. I guess what I'm missing is the innovations that I used to see every so often. Lee has his new versions out, Pete has his Makos and a build thread is starting. That's about all I see. I'm not really into t...

How do we create the unobtanium spar?

Well it looks like just about everything else in our planes is either fixable or replaceable except for the spar. When that breaks, major surgery or the trash can is inevitable. I've been doing the 1/8" fg rod thing for a long time and am now ready to move on to the next latest and greatest. I ...

Hot was the word of the day. Mother nature rang down triple didgets on us and Pete opened up a can of whoop ass on us all! I cannot say enough about the level of sportsmanship the pilots at Livermore exhibited. The competitions focus was on fun and not winning. I didn't see anyone complaining or thr...

ROLL CALL!!

Hey everyone, I haven't noticed too much activity on the boards lately and was wondering what's up.

I personally check them a couple times a week but if I don't see anything new, I don't reply.

So, are you a lurker or actively posting?

Let's keep a running tab.
