Look at the number of pilots flying SSC compared to open and scale. I want to fly as much combat as my building time will allow. I fly open and SSC right now because they offer the most meets with the most competition. I was thinking of scale but haven't had the time yet. I really like the idea of 2...

Dixie Done Right

I would like to thank Lou, Mike, Phillis and especially Mac for a great meet at Hodges field. I had little success but a great time. If you haven't gone to Dixie you've missed out. Try to go next year, I know I will. Sorry I can't report the results as I left early to get home. It was a 735 mile tri...

Perhaps we could award a point per meet for evey white hair on a persons head. If that includes beards I think I might finish higher.[:)]

I think yws should only be 5-25. The middle ground can fall between that and the OGC. I also think that you should get an extra point per round for every year you are older than the 50. Those in the middle should have a point per round subtracted for each year they are short of 50 or 2 points subtra...

I believe the temperatures were in the 90's. The winds were light as predicted and a good time was had by all. I just got back to Ohio and had a fabulous time. I would like to thank Don and the Hilltop Flyers for the second great meet this year at their unique field. I would also like to thak Phyill...

Thanks to John and the Hawks for a great event. Ten rounds of SSC was just the practice I needed to thaw out my rookie Yankee thumbs. I hope to take Lou Saturday.

Lou, I'll see you at all those events. I will be at some that you probally won't go to because they are too deep in Yankee territory. I'm going after ya at the Marathon!!!!!!!!!![}:)][}:)][}:)]

Looks like the top 5 pilots in each event were Yankees. Quinn admitted that he was a yankee by marriage. I guess that's why Lou headed south before the beginning of Open B. It was a complete sweep. Can't wait till Muncie!! The cup is comming home.

I tried to get some combat skills about a week before my firse ever combat by recording a Dazzler flight with smoke and then using a Dazzler with my colors to chase the recorded one with. On the recording, the smoke didn't show up, but I feel it helped. I agree we need to lobby the vendors on better...

Hey! I smoked for 35 years and quit. I wouldn't have done it if my wife hadn't had a crippling stroke 3 months after she retired to the "good life". If you guys want to use the pocket for the coffin nails, fine with me. You can even smoke them around me and I won't complain. I would prefer...
