Re: 2014 NATS Schedule

Tom Neff contacted the Albany cival air patrol to see if we can get them to help judging. I will have my lap top with real flight for rc flying tutoring and a buddy box cord. The hopes are new pilots from the judge pool. Tom has had success with this in Colorado. Tom can't make the NATS this year du...

Re: 2014 NATS Schedule

The easiest way to register is over the phone. I usually contact Yolanda Jones extention 261. The AMA number is 1 800 435 9262. If Yolanda is not available, others can help. I just find her pleasant and efficient.

Re: 2014 NATS Schedule

Just got a note from AMA. There is a late fee if you register for the NATS after June 20. I think it is $20. Good idea to get it in soon and if staying in a motel, early reservations are reccommended. You can always cancel the motel if something comes up.

Re: Final Anarchy over Afton

It was nice to fly with the RCCA Prez again. What was that airfoil again?..............NACA 2412

I keep no secrets. Anything that will help a fellow pilot is shared so they can enjoy rc combat more.

Re: Final Anarchy over Afton

Just got home this morning. Mowed grass and tied up grapes. Put some of the planes in the hanger for repair tomorrow and made my ground breaking meeting for the joint vocational school. Thanks to Bill and Jennifer for their hospitality. Thanks to Dane for giving me a chance to chase his tail. That S...

Re: Battle for Bean Town

Long range setting of dates is a crap shoot for weather. One year the field was spongy and it was known as the Sponge-Bob event. I just gassed up the van and plan on leaving about 4AM tomorrow. I might leave at 5am for the meet since it is in a different time zone.

Re: Battle for Bean Town

It was good to see you down South here in Ohio. I hope you took back enough Tim Horton's coffee to keep Kathy happy until I get up there. I sent the score sheets to Randy last night. I have nearly everything ready for Kansas. I need to patch up a few of the things on the extra scale ships.

Re: Battle for Bean Town LIMA OHIO

It's official! We are now an international meet. A new RCCA member plans to fly at the Battle for Bean Town. He is from Canada and we talked at the Toledo show. Go to the sign up page and see his name while you get signed up as well.

Re: Battle for Bean Town LIMA OHIO

If we have any fishermen, remeber to bring a rod or pole. You can always borrow one as well. Didn't lose any fish with the bad winter like some did. The bass and bluegill are hungry. That's brim for you rebels.

Re: Anarchy Over Afton, KS

I plan on it again this year. I will register after my meet ends the weekend before. I need to see how much damage I have and what classes I have planes left to fly.
