Hmmmmm, Magnum at $60 vs Hobby Partz 25 at $46.50 (shipped), and it is allegedly the same engine with the "Magnum XLS" milled off!
Can anyone justify the extra $13.50 (plus shipping)?

What really matters is what you do with 'em once you get 'em.

Yeah Bob, I was wondering the same thing. Surely it won't be less than the $44 they were selling the Magnum 15s for this year :?:

David Drowns how many did you order? And what RPM,s are you getting now?
I have 2 coming at $39.99 each, so I guess I'm in 2548 to stay.

I would like to try some open B, but no one flys that around here that I know of . Think I'll build one if I do they may come.

I picked up 6 more at $39.99 each...giving me a total of 10 this fall. I guess I might consider trying some of the B class & 2948 one of these days.

Dang! That is a lot of breaking in!!!

I haven't had to many chances to run it yet but, last weekend with the APC 9x4 I got 15,900 on the pinch with 15% Omega and still with just the baffle removed. It's up a bit since the previous runs but boy does it haul booty in the air. :D This seems to back up what others here have said that they are getting higher RPM's with the MAS prop on the ground but more speed out of the APC.

And as to how many..............1  After all, It's a gift I picked up from my wife. 8) and I have plenty of the Norvells still.

David, you ought to fly against this guy. In his second meet (mine) he got 2nd. The next week in Jackson TN he got 1st. He flies his own design SSC and is going to start kits for them. He may be featured in Model Aviation soon if Don Grissom can get the information.
