Folding Flight Stand

Post by Dane McGee »

Frank Scharnell had a folding wooden flight stand at LSN that was really cool and I was trying to locate a vendor. Seem like I saw an ad in one of the model publications some back.

Anyone have an idea of who makes it and where to get one?

Click on Resources, go to Kits/Plans, under Accessories click on Chet's flight stand. Does it look something like his?

Frank,
Scott has been out of combat the last couple of years but yes I believe he still has his stand. He is supposed to make a comeback this year but I haven't heard anything from him.

Frank,
June the 4th is our first contest. We ususally have between eight to twelve pilots, two hot dogs from Bozeman MT, one hot dog from Boise and the rest of us are just crazy. It would be great to see you again and burn some nitro together. I usually make a good target for someone.

I use a walker converted to an airplane stand. Works great and when I get older I can use it.
