Give me a few days to get my router set up. If I can't get it working correctly, I can plug the cable directly into the computer on a schedule with competetors. I have the voip type phone and would kill my phone only to fly after 6 pm est.

Bob, you need to figure out how to drive at least 100 miles to get to your computer!

I'm thinking of getting G5 to get warmed up for combat.
Who else is flying with the G5 sim, where and how?

I have been hosting sessions about 7pm Eastern. I use the Santa Clara model site and use a game list called "chasing tail". I use 3 rounds of foamies followed by one round of P-51 warbirds. Each round is 6 minutes with the exception of the first which is 15 minutes. Don Grissom has stopped by when he gets time and Matt Chontos,in Fl has come by as well. I believe it is realistic enough to keep my thumbs from rusting. I will try to find out at the LSN this weekend. I will be scoped tomorrow to see how much damage my acid reflux has done. If I get a good report, the van will already be loaded to leave Wednesday morning at 4 am.

Hope to have G5 by the weekend. I'll probably need to get a post on how to get teh combat thing going but I'll look forward to it.

Talkin about scoped, I just had knee ACL replacement which keeps me from gettin out to fly but some desk flying will get me ready for combat this summer.

Hope your tests came out well. You really need that long drive to get yourself back feelin 100%.

Thanks,

Doc said I had to stop several meds and wait a week before being scoped again. I just got back from LSN and will get scoped Thursday. I came in last in scale, near last in SSC and 4th out of 9 in open. The gear wasn't test flown or set up well like the G5. Cost me to not actually have flying weather yet. Still had a good time though.

Hope you had fun. 4 of 9 in open must have been a blast.

Good luck on the scope. My knee is doin' fine. Just need to convince the Dr. that I don't need this brace.

Got G5 but apparently need ot tweak some port setting to get it to work for online combat. Seems they want UDP messages to go through, but that is typically blocked by my firewall.

Look forward to at least doing some PC G5 combat with yall soon.
