I've tried to post the NATS so pilots can start signing up but keep getting a server error. Tried 6 times last night and twice today. Here is some information about the scheduled plan. July 5th we will take the field as soon as pins and site are available. From the looks of things that could be early as the Pylon guys are all on 2.4 ghz. We will start tech inspections as test flights. On the 6th will will start with 5 rounds of SSC followed with 5 rounds of Open B. On the 7th we will plan on finishing SSC and Open B. (Hopefully we will have completed 10 rounds total for each. 1st rounds at 8 AM should help like last year. Test flights can start at 7 AM.) On the 8th we will start with 5-7 rounds of 2948 followed with 5 rounds of Limited B. Pizza party at the field for those interested. On the 9th we will plan on finishing 2948 and Limited B. Maybe Keith or Don can get the event posted or Don can figure out why I can't seem to get it posted....

Event created Bob, I suspect you had more than 250 characters in the description field. I did at first and got a server error.
Please take a look and make sure I got it right.

Start planning on July 6-9 for 40 rounds of combat. That's nearly double of the Battle for Bean Town. You can test your metal against other pilots from different regions. Of course if your intimidated and scared silly, you will probably come up with an excuse to keep from being humiliated. I know Muncie doesn't have much in the way of five star restaurants but they do have plenty of good ones that are more reasonably priced. You can also cook out at the field for a holiday atmosphere. Last year Ball State University did an extensive piece for TV called Outdoor Indiana with a number of interviews for RC Combat participants and other NATS events. May the brave and fun loving pilots start to assemble.

Well, as of today, July 2nd, we have signed up:-
12 SSC pilots
6 Open B Pilots
10 Limited B Pilots
5 2948 Pilots

Looks like we'll be finished pretty early in the day if Bob still plans on Heat #1 starting at 8am!

We should have 2 more scale pilots. Viat and a friend from the Ukraine. Will see if they show. We may be laid back this year but an early start will be cooler and give more time for getting ready for dinner etc.

Thanks for a great event Bob. The weather cooperated and we did NOT get rained on. Well worth the trip to see that beautiful site where the AMA headquarters is located. The golf cart and water bucket just added to the whole package. I hope the photo loads properly so everyone can see my tribute to a great CD.

This one's for you Bob.

Thanks Bill. Don Grissom is going to post a panoramic picture taken from the pilot line in a few days on the NATS debrief. The site is truly awesome for combat.
