Ed, on the web site under products there's no "buy" function for the e-Falcon. I've got a friend that wanted to buy some cores and a e-Falcon and I didn't know what to tell him?

Wow Lee that plane is amazing, and I thought the Avenger turned well. Ed I went to the website and didn't see any talk of the Cobra only the Falcon. Did you guys get to where you are kiting an E-Cobra?

Re: The
I flew the Texas Flugwerks e-Cobra design in my 2nd ever SSC contest. It did not turn well but I"ll totally admit that I had only 2 sucessful test flights on it before the contest as I got the kit rather close to event time and was not able to work with it much. I got it flyable, barely had time to mess with CG adjustment, then put it away to get my other SSC planes working. Late in the competition, my new friend (Bill Shepard) borrowed it and had a mishap. I do however intend to repair it and try it out again. I have a 2nd kit that I never finished also. My problem in the contests was turning, I had 120% elevator and I was getting out turned left and right missing chances on cuts. Once again, the plane was not really finished being tweaked. One issue I had with the ruggedness was putting the ESC up front. During Bill's crash, the wing moved forward and took out the ESC. My eRapier has a bigger but heavier fuse and it protects everything. My modified eAxe was similar but then took a T-bone mid air right to the back of the fuse to crack open the fuse (repairable). I'll spend the next couple months playing with each design. The eRapier fuse was not really optimized and I will make a 2nd fuse for it. I originally used a Hobbypartz Monster Power 15 motor. It's heavier than the SK 1100Kv motor but I have had no issues with it yet.

Re: The
You must have been nose heavy, because a Cobra will cut it`s own streamer if you want it to. They are basically a flying wing so the CG is very important. A conventional design has a much broader range of usable CG placement. The Cobra does take some getting use to to find out what you like for your own personal taste, but once you find that spot, turning will not be an issue I promise.
