Corobra....pronounced (Kor-O`-Bra)....It had to happen

Post by Lee Liddle »

Well I`ve had too much time on my hands and too much Coro to play with. I`ve been pretty impressed with how the Coro Falcon flys and the fact that the weight is not that bad. So, why not. Had to build a Coro Cobra. The prototype SSC weight came in at 44oz with a 5s 2200 lipo. That`s with 3 1oz servos. So 1.5oz could be trimmed off of the weight with lighter servos.

The first one flys so good that it needed it`s own name. So, naturaly, I cristened it The Corobra. :) This thing flys every bit as good as the original foam Cobra flew 8 years ago  , yep 8 years ago. I found this pic in the arcives from an `04 contest.
