HI, MY NAME IS DARRELL ALBERT.
I AM A MEMBER OF THE PALAMOR FLYERS R/C CLUB.
THEY HAVE ASKED ME TO RUN COMBAT IN THE YEAR 2008.
I AM A CONTROL LINE RACER E/D AND C/D AND DO 6 COLTROL LINE CONTEST A YEAR IN THE LA AREA. I HAVE LOOKED AT MY CALENDAR FOR 2008 AND CAN HOST 5 R/C COMBAT CONTEST IN 2008.
THEY WANT TO HAVE OPEN B AND SSC AS THE TWO EVENTS.
MY QUESTION IS HOW MANY COMBAT FLYER WANT TO FLY?
SINCE I AM NEW TO THE FOURM I DONT KNOW IF POLLS CAN BE TAKEN ON THIS FOURM.
SO I WOULD LIKE SOME FEED BACK
THE DATES THAT I AM LOOKING AT ARE: MAR 9TH,MAY 18TH,AUG 17TH,NOV 16TH AND DEC 14TH.

2008 looks like a good year for me to compete. I'll be there for both classes and will even be trying out some E combat planes in Open B.

I am kicking around the idea of holding Scale events on the Sa* * * *ay before your events over at the Fallbrook field. Then, all of the classes folks are interested in will be flown in one weekend. Tim Attaway shouldn't have an issue with the sanctions as long as he knows we are working together.

This is good news, and I need to get the word out to the Fallbrook guys because they are interested in SSC. We need to put on a little demo at Fallbrook, sell some kits, and get a few of them hooked.
