Streamers!!

Post by Kenj »

Our club is hosting an electric combat as part of a noon demo at an electric fly-in.

Question? - Where can I buy narrow streamers for the event?

The regular wide Crepe paper is too much for the 2 cell planes to haul around!

HELP!!!

Just use the regular 30 ft streamers and cut them in half on a bandsaw then you unroll at the contest and cut in half legnth wise one regular streamer will give you four e streamers.

Like "Mad" said, I've used 30' streamers that I had rolled for regular combat and simply sliced them into half width with a bandsaw and they've worked great. In fact we didn't bother shorting them to 15' we just left them 30' and our 2 cell planes pulled them around just fine with no more difference in performance than you'd see with regular combat planes pulling the full width 30' streamers.
