prop size

Post by ICETEA »

I have 1 electric airplane and I am running a EPS-350C-AS/BB electric motor. I want to know what prop size would work.I am interested in power instead of speed.

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Hey Kevin, I`m not familiar with your motor, but you haven`t given enough info for someone to suggest a prop size. Power would be a low sized pitch like the 4.7 SF GWS props. If the motor is a brushed unit you are limited to 2s lipos. The main thing is to make sure that your prop does not cause the system to draw too many amps. This can ruin batts and motors. Smaller props draw less amps and vice versa. You need an inline ampmeter to be sure.

If you provide more info, I`ll try to help.
