Yellow props from George Cleveland

Post by montague »

I've been playing around with the yellow props from George Cleveland. So far, I like the results. They run GREAT on the Webra, but it seems almost a toss-up on the OS FX with the trusty MAS 9x4. I'm wondering if the OS just doesn't have quite enough power to really swing that prop like the Webra can. Anyone else notice anything like this? Anyone using these props on the OS FX?

Hey Kirk, did you come up with a final verdict on George's yellow props?

I've run a few tanks through my Norvel with one out front and it seems like a good combo. Maybe cause they're both from the same neck of the woods...

Well, I've decided that the OS's do seem to like the MAS props better. Maybe with more Nitro they'd do better on the yellow props. I talked to Lee and he said pretty much the same thing, that the yellow props were just a hair too much prop for the OS under normal conditions.

Lee did say that you can shave a bit off the blades of the yellow props to thin them down a little, and the OS can then turn them well. Too much trouble for me, so I haven't bothered trying it.
