Hey,
Here is what I came up with in support of keeping my son's 3696 airplane batteries, etc., charged.
Front side of crate:
12VDC power accessory outlet via 10A fuse to battery via bolts.
12VDC toggle switch with safety cover.
Bolts (location for someone to attach battery cables to jump-start a car).
Schumacher 1.5A trickle charger.
Ceramic tile "recessed lid" for laying lipos and chargers on. Other crates can be stacked on top of this one.
Back side of crate:
12VDC dual female binding posts for male banana jacks. Powered via 20A fuse and "red guarded switch."
View with ceramic tile removed:
12VDC, Group 51, battery (non-deep cycle cuz I couldn't afford one). [:D]
Terminal bars.
Mounting hardware, etc.
I'm sure there are better ideas out there; however, this project only took a couple of evenings and several beers to complete...
