This is a recent SAE article on A123's efforts to be a battery supplier for Prius and other electric cars. If this technology gets adopted big time for green cars, it should lower production costs for the A123 cells for electric airplanes as well (assuming they don't shift 100% of their capacity to serving the automative market)
