This morning, I bench tested the following motors on 6S 3300mAh Gens Ace and MAS 10x4 prop adjusting throttle to 14500RPMs
Turnigy SK3548-900KV http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oduct=7393
630W ~ 27A @ 14500RPM
Turnigy C42040 900KV http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oduct=4912
630W ~ 27A @ 14500RPM
Turnigy SK3542-1000Kv http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oduct=7125
630W ~ 27A @ 13500RPM and started to smell bad, so I throttled back.
On the first 2 I was at about 60-70% throttle. I think a 800Kv motor may be best with the strong batteries I'm using. I predict they would unload to around 25A in the air.
