BF-110
Here's my latest. I used the exact same building method on this bird as I did the ME-410. The only difference is I used Hurricane tape almost exclusively for reinforcement instead of fiberglass single and bidi filiment tape. .... saved weight and is stronger. I had a chance to maiden and performance was stunning. With engines turning 17.6K the launch really wasn't even a launch....I simply dropped the airplane and it flew out of my hand.
BF-110......4.0 pounds, fast, turns tight and a very solid performer.... I will definately build more!

Re: BF-110
Thank you! That is the max in 2948 twin combat.
So the fuselage should come out to 52" long and rudder to rudder should be 20.125"
Well I have the easy part done.

Re: BF-110
So if I build it like this drawing at 60" wing span it should be 2948 legal right ?
A bladder tank thru the wing open at both ends to feed the engines, You have any photos of that?

Re: BF-110
I think my numbers are wrong. I check the drawing and the wing was 72" so I reduced them to 60" and that got the fuselage down to 48" and tail to 17" rudder to rudder. Dos that sound right?
I must have thought I was building an IMAA bird.

Re: BF-110
Here it is on my 410. Bladder compartment is 2.5" wide by 8.5" long. Be sure to cut the ends round instead of square. A square hole will always split at the corners. Install a piece of flourescent light bulb cover inside the bladder compartment and use 3/16 ID latex tubing for bladder......a fully inflated 3/16 bladder should slide freely inside of the light bulb cover and give you rock solid, repeat, ROCK SOLID runs with a .5 gpm dripper and stock mag needle valves.Don Holmes wrote: A bladder tank thru the wing open at both ends to feed the engines, You have any photos of that?
