Realflight 7.5

Post by boiler »

Been flying all winter on Realflight 7.5 and the streamer cut with the Mustangs is realistic. The streamer cut with the foamies simulates the open classes well. Depth perception is hampered but an instant rebuild by hitting a reset button more than makes up for it.

I need to get back in the habit of flying with you again on Real Flight. It's fun, but the depth perception is hard on a computer screen. I think you are usually on there "chasing tail" from 7-8 CST correct?

Correct. You judge distance by plane size. The default view stinks. Hit the Z button 1 time and you will change from auto zoom to manual zoom. In manual zoom your plane will always be in the center of your screen and you can better see who is in front and behind you. You can zoom in or out with the + and - keys.
