Tonight, I had to jump into the shower with a new wing to save a botched covering job. I was trying to cover a P40 wing with Ceconite and wood glue. The wrinkles would NOT go away, the humidity is low, and it was setting up fast. Snap decision to pull it all off, and rinse out the glue.

It worked.

Yeah I can just see the look on your wifes face as she opened the door to you and your wing in the shower!!! LMAO!!!!

Man, I had to make sure all the glue etc.. washed away. It is water based right? Anywho, so today I ironed the Ceconite befor applying and all went very well.
