Want Nats Pictures?
Check out a few pictures from 7 rounds of SSC on Friday in Muncie:

One of the more exciting moments of the day - I think Round 7, heat 2 - There are three planes left up with a total of maybe 16 inches of streamer still in play divided between two planes. Lee tracked that Gorilla for about 30 seconds before cleanly cleaning Lou of his last 10 inches of streamer.

<font size="4"><font face="Arial">Here is Muncie's very own Andy Panoncillo playing hooky from work so he can visit with old friends at the Nats
This is Eric Wengers # 1 Avenger
The P40 that Serg Gaidmakov (Bender) offers as a kit and as an ARF is an excellent flier and very good looking
Bill Geipel kept us entertained with Magic and a vast repertoire of jokes and stories, he is from Wisconsin
One of four fliers from Georgia and a founding member of the 5 D's of Death, Darin Stevens holding his Georgia Battle Axe
Don "Hollywood" Veres with a battle weary Fairey Battle flown in both 2610 and 2548
Don Pruitt, RCCA District Representative for the Southeast holding the original Georgia Gorilla, still going strong after two years of battle
The always stylish Dr. Evil (GQ) with his foam fuselaged creation
Kirk Adams Firebrand and Open designs:
Here is a look down the flightline early on a foggy morning
Father and son team of Scott and Brian Gilkey
Chris "Grasshopper" Handegard just after being busted for rpm excess on hat
Model Aviation columnist Greg Rose who is one of the founding fathers of US RC Combat:
Still a student at Oklahoma, Hayk Terzan and his father Simon made the trip east to the Nats:
One of Bender and Serg's IL10 glass/fuse scale combat ships:
Chris Handegards KI64 from a Bob Wallace glass/foam kit. Designed for 2610 it also flew in 2548. Very fast when powered by new Norvel .25 AME
Kirk Adams and Eric Wenger:
Lee Liddle:
Lee, Kirk and Bob Loescher:
This is Mark Cippolone (MC Hammer):
One of Ed Kettler's four P51 Mustangs for Scale 2548:
Renee Feathers and son Ryan prepare his plane for flight:
Ron Caravona judging Viat Gaidamakov in Scale 2548:
An excellent view of Lee Liddle's potent Skyraider:
To me one of the most impressive 2548 planes was Keith "Lightning" Jones new Spitfire. It is a later mark with a tear dropped shaped canopy. Designed by Jay Lawless the two prototypes appearing at the Nats flew very well.
What we all looked like prior to Day One of SSC:
Tim Feathers making ready for next round:
Colorado's Tom Neff flew very hard all week and took home the North South Challenge Cup to Colorado to hold it another year for the South.
The Ron Horton designed, Chet Carpenter manufactured WASP of Wyn Hone, Blackfoot, Idaho:
And we conclude this photo report with Dr. Evil's most excellent Mitsubishi A6M Zero for 2548:
