This another one of your Skyraider conversions or did you build it from scratch. Looks like a good choice for motor, I hadnt looked at the himaxx. The 3630-1500 looks promising as well on 3s2p.

This plane was built as a dedicated electric 2548. Old 2610 building methods are too heavy to meet the demands of a competitive 2548-E. The power system...motor/prop/spinner/esc/batteries.... weigh aprox 26 to 28oz. That leaves about 26 to 28oz for the airframe/radio.

It flys great, and I`ll be using it at the LSN. When I build the next one, I`ll take construction pics.

Chris, I think it has something to do with taking care of youngins that takes that time from building. We had 6. Retired now and have time to build like a fool.

Lee,
I know the 3630-800 has worked, but I really think if you get a 3630-1500 and run 3s2p of 2000s you can get the same performance, cheaper.
Running 2 of the $34 dollar packs I have been getting.

The 1500 with lower voltage may be the same. I plan on trying a 1500 in the future, but I haven`t been very happy with the output of the Apex 10c 3S2000 packs that I have. I have 4 of them. I`ll sell you all four for $80 if you want them.
