MA GF/3

Post by rawkdw »

Hello,
I'd like to hear any one's comments on the GF/3 compared to the standard MA 9x4. I need to order some new props and need to make a choice.

Thanks

I prefer the older MA 9x4, the new ones seem to bog the engine down in tight turns. You may or may not notice a differnece on your plane depending on how you fly.

I think the G/3 is a much prettier shade of black.

In talking to Windsor Propellor last year, they said the GF/2's would still be available. You may have to order them directly if your local hobby store is unwilling to place the order (my local store only orders through Great Planes, and they are not on the inventory list).

In any event, the original GF/2 is better for Open B combat if you are comparing the two.
