I run 6oz. tanks. A .25FX on a Mousse can comes close to draining it.

You can heat up the 4 oz tank in boiling water, and with caution, you stick a blunt dowel inside and push on the back of the tank to get it closer to 5 oz. Bilinski and I used to do this because the 6 oz tank was too big for our needs, and this was pre-mousse can as well.

2548 doesn't use mousse cans, so this trick might work for you.

With a regular muffler and limited B type prop it's pretty close with 4 oz. With a can and a small prop it takes all of 6. I've got a Webra 25 that drinks close to 8!

i think you could get away with 4 oz for limB or 2548, but you may want to start/launch late and keep the throttle low until "start combat." i think it will be close, though.

Concur with Scott on 4 ounces for regular muffler, limited RPM 2548 and LimB classes. Not a lot of margin, but if it is full I have not had a low fuel situation

I've done the 4 oz tank with an FX in 2548, your pushing it, but there IS a bit of a margin, but only about a minute or so. I'd make doggone sure that your clunk line just clears the back of the tank, and use as flexible a line as possible to get every drop.
