Yep Congrats to the kings of the podium Jason, Mike, & Gary. That was just a very nice event. Lots of fun. Thanks to the Thunderhawks guys for making it happen. It seemed like the competition was pretty solid. The carnage was there but it did not seem as bad as in the past. Most of the pilots have flown combat before and managed to handle the excitement well. I can say the only thing that overly excited the crowd was beating "Pete the Barbarion" in the event points.

I think that beating Pete was the best for most of us! now I fear he will arise from the ashes and be stonger than ever! Pearl Harbor, watch out!

What a great event. Zig and Andy have done a great job of putting on a class event.

A few more cuts and I could have gotten the "weepdog" but then San Diego is comming up.
Two planes to repair, and other Mako to build and finish my Migs.

Oh no! We may have a new smack talking rivalry starting between the Sheepy & Gary. Will Jason the Sheep Dawg Irwin defend his title & keep the crown or will Old Dawg Gary jump off the porch and snatch the golden hard hat away? I guess we will see at the Pearl Harbor Classic.[:D]

In spite of the fact that I was not ready (mentally or equipment) and had pretty much my worst day of
the year I had a good time and that was a first class event. I think that a late year event in Exeter
should should happen again. I am glad that the competition is getting so tight. These events are now
up for grabs for anyone.
Congrats to Jason the Sheepdog. We can call him Sheepdog, but the nickname "Sheepy" has been retired to
the hall of fame.
