I found this servo at HK and thinking about ordering some with my next shipment to try out http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/stor ... oduct=9391
Anyone else tried um?
It is a digital, metal gear servo weighing .92 oz, about the same size as a GWS mini standard 'cept 10 mm shorter. Looks to have about 50oz of torque at 4.8v, .......price $13.99

I'd like to know what kinds of control horns that the output shaft works with. That was my main dig on the GWS servos, I could never find decent horns for them
and the ones they came with did not hold up.

The horns are not too strong and you don't get a lot. The Dubro horns have been purchased by a number of reviewers. That adds to the final cost. I still like the GWS Might Micro with metal gears and more torque from Servohut.com. It is $17 but comes with heavy arms and plenty of them. I just ordered another dozen. I started using them in my scale planes but now they are on all my elevators at 75 oz in of torque. I have never lost one to a stripped gear in the 2+ years that I've been running them.

Bring those planes in closer where I can see them.

Pete, it appears that Futaba horns will fit. The helicopter guys use this servo and switch out to heavy duty Dubro horns for Futaba.ptsullivan wrote:I'd like to know what kinds of control horns that the output shaft works with. GWS servos will accept JR horns.
Bob, did Servohut have the GWS servos on sale for $17?
The price I found at Servohut was $19.25 which make this servo even more attractive.........provided its not a piece of junk.
