Question on Sanctions

If you're new to combat, you probably have a bunch of question. Check here first, 'cuz its most likely been asked before. (..and there's no such thing as a stupid question).

Question on Sanctions

Post by midair02 »

We are planning on having a meet here in Green Bay on May 15th. Found the CD guide and just have a question on sanctioning.

What class do you sanction:

SSC only: Class A, right?

SSC and Limited B: Class C?

SSC and GNAT: Class C?

Thanks

If you have SSC and anything else it will be a class A. SSC is an official AMA event with a event number. You can fly any non official class in addition to SSC but it won't change the Sanction registration. If you don't fly SSC, 2610 or open B then it would be a class C. Hope that helps. That date is open for me right now. Want a Buckeye to fly with?

The only other thing is that if you have two rule book events, it can be AA or A. Other than prestige and getting prepped for running bigger events like the NATS, it doesn't really buy you anything from a draw protection area. But I did it for LSN :D

William,
Is your contest for sure on May 15th? I've been spending time reserving hotels/getting my schedule set for the upcoming season and would be interested in details about your meet you're planning. Not sure if I'd come just for the day or what.
Thinking about warmer weather this summer is what gets me through the winter...
