Re: Hornet/Sea Hornet approved
Thanks for the encouragement guys. It was Lee's RCP that got this started.
I have one "in the works". I got the balsa tails back from the cutter, and the basic drawings are with Scott for cutting the foam. Still "conceptualizing" the motor mounts to get a solution that will be "combat capable" as the spinners are ahead of the nose
I will be using the same power system as the Me-110 (2x3536 1400 kv outrunners off a single 4S5000), and hoping to figure out if I can drop to a 4000 to save weight.

Re: Hornet/Sea Hornet approved
You're welcome ED, it's always great to see someone building a heretofore unscaled combat fighter for real, not just gabbing about it! I'll be posting pics and info on my latest two designs as soon as Don helps me sort out the problem with the gallery that's preventing uploads. I have a P-47N prototyped and flying with very positive early results and will be building a new twin very soon from the approved list. I know it's hard to believe but it isn't a twin mustang this time. I'll get back to refining that one later.

Lou, looks really nice. . . . wish you had a bigger/higher resolution version of the picture!
