SSC coro p-47
I started the p-47 a while back and put it on the back burner, After seeing Grasshoppers p-47, I decided to dig it out and finish it up. yes, its all coro. I will maiden it saturday, weather permitting and have it down at Palomar next sunday for a little combat

I don`t know guys, but the fuse looks a little narrow to me Oh, maybe it`s just the angle of the pic. Sorry, couldn`t pass it up.
Seriously that looks really good! What`s the RTF weight?

Re: SSC coro p-47
Thanks guys, I have been having a blast designing these new coro models..... this is what I have done so far. Zero, texan, FW190, P-40, E-P40, P-47 Bearcat, spitfire, all coro.... all new.... more to come
I just weighed it, it came in at 2 lbs 13 oz. a little heavyer than I wanted but acceptable. most of my coro SSC birds are at 2-9 or 2-10

Re: SSC coro p-47
Good video! It's funny over a period of ten years of flying combat, posting digital photos was a big deal for documenting an event and now photos are no big deal instead it's video of the event! Looks like everyone had a great time and those coro birds look good and seem to fly good!

Re: SSC coro p-47
I literally jumped at the opportunity to judge Andy for the P47 flight.
Up close, under a microscope, like any plane there are blems... BUT, this is SSC...and this is combat...I think Andy did a great job on this plane.
The P47 is a very popular plane, put it 100' out in an event, and it is a real looker. I know everyone was watching the P47...INVASION STRIPES...hellllloooo
It flew well, Andy got some great cuts, and all of us just really thought about Scale combat again...
SSC is very relaxed out here, we are competitive for sure, but many of us are willing to fly a Warbird style SSC plane for the over all FEEL..
Andy, you have my support...100%+++
BTW, I need to know what graphics cutter your buddy has...

Re: SSC coro p-47
Thank you guys. I always had a motive or inspiration to come up with a new bird. it has been really fun and I enjoy the semi scale SSC combat. I really like the warbird feel for SSC, as long as it looks like a warbird that somebody can recognize, it sure makes the combat more alive and real but with no scale rules and alot more fun
