Less than a week now untill the Texans invade Kansas. Last i heard there was 6 pilots planning on making the trip. Bill is an excellent host and the field is beautiful. This is an event you dont want to miss..

Got some test flying done today. ssc birds are all patched up and ready. Gonna try to get the open b and scale planes some air tomorrow . couple of little things to do still, but plenty of time left right.....

Are you ready for some COMBAT!!! I tore everything apart 2 weeks ago and haven't touched it since. I have tomorrow to assemble and test fly. Weather forecast looks purdy good for the weekend in Kansas. I'm leaving out Thursday morning with a car full of target towers. Cut me if you can

Two words gentlemen, "Kidney Stones!" Wound up in the ER yesterday. Doc said I have 3 on the way. I talked him into letting me go home. I've past 2 and waiting on number 3. If i can pass this thing by 2 pm, there will be enough time for the drugs to wear off and I'll be able to make the trip. I'll be sore but pain free.

Hope you get better David. Ive never had kidney stones, but i know how painful they Can be. I need somebody to crash into, so try to make it if ya can.

OUCH, I feel your pain - had two bouts with stones many years ago.
A female nurse even commented they were more painful than childbirth.
My description was more along the lines of "peeing fish-hooks".
