A little upsetting

Post by Don Holmes »

It is little upsetting when AMA will not have room in there Model Aviation magazine for Combat events but they can find room for another rc hobby. Twin Hydro? 7 pages?
Even C/L Combat got a page.

I want to see more on Combat and less on Boating.

It's was an interesting read. I did not realize that the article was 7 pages. That is too much. Half of the pages were pictures.
Then you have the 3 or 4 multiple page product "reviews" (free advertisement?). Honestly, when was the last time you read a review that ended with "this plane/product sucks do not buy one." Can these reviews be put on AMA website? I wonder, if the AMA was sent a combat plane kit for review, would the review wind up in Model Aviation?

We are a SIG with only 123 members. Although most are active combat flyers, the number is small compared to many AMA SIGs.

It was good to read about some RCCA combat in the April 2013 Model Aviation.
Thank you Don Grissom.
