Toledo Show

Post by boiler »

The Toledo show went well. Don Veres and I were talking to interested pilots constantly all three days. The Gnat seems to be the starting point of interest. A good number of guys used to fly combat with SPADS but not the Gnat which is simpler and more durable. Several asked if it would be ok to electrify them and the answer was yes but I couldn't give them any ideas on specific equipment except the MAS 8x3 at about 18000 rpm for 6 minutes. Having run out of Gnat plans last year (100) I ran 200 copies this year and I think I have about 40 left. Hobby People did pretty good at selling the Magnum 15 for $45 over the weekend so the interest is there. One group of 4 youngsters (about early 20's) were just about jumping they were so excited. One of them worked at a sign shop with an unlimited supply of Coro.

Bring those planes in closer where I can see them.
