Battle for Bean Town now a week earlier

This year the Battle for Bean Town (Lima, Ohio) will NOT be on Memorial day weekend but a week earlier to help with those that had conflicts on the holiday weekend. Saturday May 21 will be 6 rounds of SSC followed with 6 rounds of Scale 2948. Sunday will be 6 rounds of Gnat followed with 6 rounds of Limited B. If you have any distance to travel for one or both days, I have space for you to crash as usual. Come and participate in the first non Texas 2 day event of the year. I was trapped at the Toledo Show and couldn't make it to the LSN. It was that Easter event that has the date moving around.

Leaving for the Battle for Beantown about 10:30am today. Not sure that I can do a 10 hour drive in one day anymore, so Bob, I'll either see ya tonight or tomorrow. I'll call to let you know how my travel goes and where I end up for the night. I'm really looking forward to spending the weekend with my RC Combat buds!

I'm planning on leaving in the morning...about 6.5 hour trip for me. I just finished packing all my gear into the van. We have a good weather forecast for the weekend! Time to brush off the dust of the winter and start the combat season with my friends...
